Just when you thought the NFL playoffs couldn’t provide a bigger upset than Broncos v. Steelers, we just saw two upsets that definitely rivalled that – but none of them were from Tim Tebow because he got his ASS kicked all day by the Patriots D.
Patriots BEAT The Brakes Off The Broncos (Again)
As much as I chose the Broncos to beat the Steelers [Seems like I was the ONLY damn person to do that], I KNEW the Pats would KILL Denver, as I predicted last week, because a focused New England team would NOT be full of enough HUBRIS to allow Tebow to have any success. The fact that Tom Brady threw 6 TD’s (tying a post-season record) while Tim couldn’t do a DAMN thing is a sign that the Pats [thanks to Belicheck) are BACK in rare form after going 0-3 in the playoffs the last three seasons. The big question now is: What does Denver do with Tebow now?
EDDY REED & The Ravens Are ONE Game Away From The Superbowl
I think T.J. Yates deserves a LOT of credit for having to go up against the SCARY-ASS Ravens D [in Baltimore no less] and came up only 7 points short. The Ravens played rusty but found a way to win, and Yates played, well, like the 3rd-string rookie with no off-season that he is. He DOES have a future in this league, and I hope he finds himself in a situation where he can at least BATTLE for the job [Jets?]. With all the T-Sizzle/Tom Brady trash talk that’s gonna go down this week [hopefully] I’m gonna be EXTRA hype to see what they do in the AFC Championship.
The Saints Let The 49ERS March All Over “Dat” Ass
As much as the Niners were the home team and the higher seed, if you are being HONEST with yourself, you know the MAJORITY of y’all were expecting the Saints to win since they have been so hot. But that Niners defence proved it really ain’t NO joke. They forced 5 turnovers and Alex Smith played CLUTCH in the fourth quarter. That game winning pass to Vernon was reminiscent of Steve Young to T.O.
2007 Giants Back Again? New York EMBARRASSES Green Bay
So after having to sit through people saying Aaron Rodgers is better than Favre, and the best QB in Green Bay History [Someone please Google Bart Starr], and stating that he was going to DEFINITELY lead the Packers to back-to-back Super Bowls, the Giants went into Lambeau and beat the Gorgonzola out of Green Bay 37-20. I like Aaron, but give him a little more time to build a resume before you automatically throw him in Canton [But I will say the Defence and his shaky handed receivers cost them this game]. Oh, and about Eli NOT being an elite QB – you can officially kill that noise now. In fact, I think he’s proven to be more of a big-game post-season QB than his brother – yeah I said it.
Championship Round Predictions
NFC
The Giants will BEAT the Niners. New York is just TOO HOT – AND they can play defence TOO.
AFC
The Ravens will BEAT the Patriots in a close game. Baltimore was my preseason pick to win the Super Bowl and after they squeak by the Pats, they will beat up on whoever makes it out of the NFC. Don’t be too alarmed at how they played, because they went up against the number 1 D in the NFL – now they are going up against #32.

Finally somebody brings Tebowmania back to reality. Dude really needs to work on his game because the hype's gone and his teamates won't ride for him like they did this year if they don't see an improvement.
The problem with the Ravens is that they think they have the next Drew Brees in Flacco. They keep trying to pass. How is it your D get 3 turnovers and all you get is 20 points? This is the same D that the Colts put up 19 points on to win. the only way the beat the Patriots is if they run the ball and keep Flacco from throwing

the Niners impressed me. There D is AGGRESSIVE but the G-Men can pass, run and have a D that's on fire. I see a Super Bowl rematch Giants VS Patriots with Giants winning again which will prove 2 things:
1. Your regular season record means absolutely nothing.
2. You still can't win championships focusing on offense alone

Patriots were beasts against Denver. Remember Bellichick is going to make the necessary adjustments. They'll win off better coaching and Flacco choking as usual

I Think It's Unfair To Label Flacco A Choker…

I reall WANT to see a defensive Super Bowl with the 49ers and ravens. But I think the patriots will edge my dear bmore ravens and giants with there very balanced attack will beat the 49ers. And Tom Brady will get then get his revenge. On a side note: that pass to Vernon Davis was a very bad read. Roman Harper was slow to react and Vernon Davis' sheer size and weight helped that be successful. Any ball hawking saftey would have had that pick, sorry. Alex smith rocked it all on that pass, props to him.
