So with the NBA all-star game around the corner they released the rosters recently. Can’t say I’m shocked who made the team especially since it’s all about entertainment. The all star game while not as bad as the pro bowl, it is a popularity contest. I mean who doesn’t want to see flashy dunks and sneakers (fellow sneaker heads I salute you!) Kevin love got shafted and no disrespect to Blake Griffin but he deserved that starting PF position more than Blake. Unfortunately there’s more effort put into to entertainment than actual substance. I mean Love is playing and has been playing lights out for some time now, but what do I know. I just hope Ryen Anderson gets the nod to play as a reserve for the east.

Norris Cole gets his first official NBA start and I personally think it’s overdue. Mario Chalmers wasn’t good enough to be the starting point guard for the heat. So what if he can shoot the 3 point shot, he wasn’t efficient at the position and honestly the heat need an efficient point guard who knows his role but it’s scared to step up. They need that to get to the next level, well this may very well be the step in that direction. I think we all knew he was on borrowed time when Cole outplayed him on Christmas day.

Bird on Bron

Well again my cousin argues Kenton is the best and will go down in history as the best to ever play the game(this is getting old). He tried to use Bird’s comments to bulk up his argument. Honestly to say one player is the best is a stretch because no one player is the best at everything and every position. To say that is like saying MJ was better than Wilt, The Big O etc at their respective positions. What do you think? Shout out to the staff at the bar at TGI Fridays in the Miami airport, plus they know their sports.

Kobe’s milestone

This is a huge accomplishment and to ignore what Kobe means to the game and what he has done would be down right disrespectful. Is he MJ, nope but he’s the closest to it, words spoke by MJ himself. It says something when the USA didn’t win until Kobe played in the last Olympics.(just saying) Let’s cue Encore by Jay-Z and give this Jan a round of applause.

[Ed. Note] Shout out to Jeremy Lin, proving us all wrong – Asians really CAN drive.
