Jeremy Lin is just what the Knicks needed (refer to my previous posts). Umm Kobe, Mr. Lin would like to have a word with you. Guess he knows who Lin is now that he dropped 38 and Kobe tried to guard him at times. I hate to be Debbie Downer, but I could see the Knicks resume losing when Melo and Stat return. Stat would benefit greatly from Lin being the pg as he did with Nash in the D’Antoni system, but Melo is a black hole and the offense becomes stagnant when he’s out there. So we will leave it as this…to be continued.

Perkins v Lebron

Dude gets his weight watcher/Jennifer Hudson on and starts set tripping up in here. Perk needs to fall back, Lebron didnt do anything wrong. While it’s a new day like Jen said perk you are still the “same ole g” like Ginuwine on the inside. Lebron only stated what everyone else said (it’s been established Bron is a copycat- i.e. Wade doing the superman with Killah Cam Newton earlier this season), I mean he was killed on that play like his basketball soul left his body on that dunk(which is debatable because he threw the ball in like howard did in the dunk competition of 08). Perk as long as you are a center you will run the risk if getting dunked on and now you are a target by everyone. For the record I agree with C-Webb the Kevin Johnson dunk on Hakeem the Dream was much better and nasty along with my top dunks of Vinsanity jumping over the guy in the 2000 Olympics and D-wade dunking on Varejao (I thought Sideshow Bob died on that play)

Update: Surprised the Kings won, but hey it happens. I thought the Kings would run out of gas, but they held their own against the Thunder.

Real House-Athletes of Atlanta

Ok so I’ll address the hawks…they are a fraudulent team period! Actually the football and basketball teams aren’t legit at all. If you want a little entertainment then yes they’ll give it to you, but a title nope. Joe Johnson is a good role player getting starter minutes and superstar money, but is it deserving? Yes, but max money, where they do that at? Whenever a team scores 59 points in an entire game against the Hornets with no injuries and all the starters, that team is a joke. Watching them play is like watching a really bad freshman girls team…cringe worthy. They aren’t built to beat real teams of the east like the Heat and the Bulls. Enough negativity, Al was the bright spot before the injury. Maybe they prove me wrong, but I doubt it.

The thunder are going to regret re-upping Westbrook’s contact. I understand their reasoning but let’s not get besides ourselves here. He thinks he really is the man and the main option in Oklahoma city. He’s about as delusional as “girl Melanie” on the show The Game and ole dude with bum knees in the movie Hoop dreams (was hoping his knee would hold up in camp just like we hoped Ricky would out run that bullet in Boyz n Da Hood…cues T.R.O.Y. song)

All-star Reserves

Ok so we are giving out lifetime achievement awards now, because there’s no way both Dirk and Nash should be playing. Anderson of the magic was robbed, no way Paul Pierce and Roy Hibbert should be all stars over Anderson and maybe even Tyson Chandler for entertainment purposes. I’ll admit Derron Williams is my fave pg and even he’s questionable with the bum team he’s on.
