One of my favourite things about writing this blog is waking up every morning, checking my phone and reading some of the comments y’all leave before I get up and start my day. Some are HILARIOUS, some are very intelligent and insightful, and some are just plain ‘ol ignant and damn-near RATCHET. I’ve been noticing lately that the comments section is VERY sporadic and sometimes there’s a lot of comments from NEW posters, and sometimes an OLD poster who I haven’t heard from in a while will drop their two cents, and then disappear back into the darkness.
Whether you’re a regular commenter, a once-in-a-blue-moon commenter, an O.G. (from 2010) or a rookie [hell, even if you're just a lurker] I feel like you really contribute to the community-aspect of this site. The thing I hate MOST about the comment section is the fact that it’s my ONLY way of knowing if some of y’all are still alive. and I realize that besides TIYC, some of y’all don’t even know that WE are on the same social networking sites, so it’s time for all of our asses to SHARE.
In the comments section I want you ALL to drop as much social networking info as you are comfortable sharing so WE can ALL keep in touch. Nothing too personal like emails and phone numbers, but a Twitter/Facebook/Tumblr/Pinterest/Digg/etc. handle would be all good. Also I know a lot of you have your OWN websites, and since I love reading (and know a LOT of people who read this blog would PROBABLY love yours too since we all very like-minded) make sure you drop those too.
In the past month I’ve joined so many damn sites I can barely remember them all, but here’s how you can find ME, Lincoln Anthony Blades, off of TIYC:
Tumblr: http://thisisyourconscienceblog.tumblr.com/ [Some sh*t here is NSFW]
Stitcher Radio: http://stitcher.com/listen.php?fid=24161
To everyone who follows me on anyone of those social networks, please expect a follow back immediately because my E-life needs some damn spicing up. And everyone who responds, make sure you follow back others who post cause there are some HILARIOUS people on here.
Thanks again for all your support. It’s much appreciated.
