The Official 2012 NFL Season Review: Football Is FINALLY Back [Guess Who's Winning The Super Bowl?!]

After a long offseason of watching soft-NBA basketball, the overrated summer Olympics and trying to stay awake during major baseball games, it’s FINALLY time to start watching the NFL again. And what’s crazy about this year is the fact that there’s so much parity in the league it’s hard to say that there is ONE definitive team that will definitely tear through the league. BUT, regardless of how LITTLE credit I typically give Super Bowl predictions made in September, let’s be HONEST: We all like to see if we can pick the champs all the way from NOW so we can brag about how we called it in February.

So first, here are my divisional breakdowns:

AFC East

For some damn reason a lot of my readers are JETS fans – and I got some BAD news for y’all: You guys are gonna get your ASSES kicked this year and this Tebow experiment will NOT work out the way you want to, because his teammates and coaches REALLY don’t believe in him. The PATRIOTS are gonna win this division again, the DOLPHINS will finish in last, and the BILLS might be the biggest surprise of the entire year.

AFC West

I’m a RAIDERS fan, but I’m honest enough to admit we are probably gonna come in last or second last to the CHARGERS. The Peyton Manning experiment will be great for Denver, but the CHIEFS will win this division because of their GREAT D and running game.

AFC South

This division SUCKS. The TITANS, JAGUARS and COLTS will all be regular as hell [although Andrew Luck & Colby Fleener will be BEASTS for Indy]. This is the TEXANS division to lose, and Wade Phillips is gonna have that D flying around.

AFC North

CLEVELAND BROWNS fans, I hope y’all aren’t surprised that your team is gonna finish in last AGAIN? My second favourite team in the league is the RAVENS but I feel this will actually be the year the BENGALS take them AND the STEELERS over, and finish in first.

NFC East

I’m gonna be HYPE to see what RGIII does in the NFL, but unfortunately for him, he’s located in the BEST division in the league, thus relegating the REDSKINS to last place. I think the GIANTS have too many injuries to WIN the division but they will have a great year. The EAGLES will have a good year as well, but the COWBOYS are gonna win this division. Too much talent at too many positions.

NFC West

Let’s be honest here: The 49ERS geared up to win the super bowl by adding Jacobs, Moss and Manningham, and in their weak-ass division, they are NOT gonna face too much stiff competition. The RAMS will be good but they are years away; The CARDINALS will still get their ass kicked and the SEAHAWKS are gonna have a mid-season QB competition that will tear their season apart – TRUST me on that one.

NFC South

Let me give y’all my dark-horse sleeper team this year: The TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS. That team WILL be BEASTLY this year with Vincent Jackson and a trimmed down Josh Freeman. The SAINTS are gonna have an OFF year with all the BS surrounding that team, and the PANTHERS are still a year away from the playoffs too. But the winner of this division is gonna be the ATLANTA FALCONS. Now that they have Asante Samuel, they are gonna be DANGEROUS on D.

NFC North

As much as everyone has the PACKERS winning this division, I think the team to beat will be the CHICAGO BEARS. They have the most talented defence, as well as having the Cutler-Marshall connection [from the pre-McDaniels Broncos days] back in full effect. The LIONS are gonna eventually self-destruct with all the legal BS surrounding their team and the VIKINGS still need a few more years [and a healthy Adrian Peterson] before they will be a serious factor.

So what’s my Super Bowl pick you ask?

Well, I have the CHICAGO BEARS Versus the BALTIMORE RAVENS [Yes, I don't have them finishing first this season, but I have Suggs coming back mid year from his knee injury and helping that D out].

And I have the RAVENS winning the Super Bowlbecause they cut Billy Cundiff’s punk-ass.

Ladies & Gentlemen, Who Do You THINK Will Win The Super Bowl And Who Do You WANT To Win The Super Bowl?!

I want the Jets to make it to the superbowl, and I want the Eagles to win the SuperBowl.

Tebow is going to be FASCINATING. In my fantasy of fantasies, Tebow is secretly gay and loses his virginity to a man, and in week 15, it all get exposed and the Jets season unravels there.

    my thoughts
the jets qb thing is going to end badly. REALLY REALLY BADLY.
the raiders are going regret getting rid of their coach and qb from last year
i am SO tired of the chargers.
as for the cowboys winning the division? nah son. their o-line is worse than philly's and a lacerated spleen and a wr that needs a bodyguard…this too won't end well.
i dont make SB predictions. i just sweat (and tweet) the season like everyone else. ;)
    happy nfl season opener day!

Altho I agree with you on the Jets situation, I disagree with you on the Raiders thing though.

We needed to clear house and bringing in Reggie McKenzie to control the ENTIRE organization is the best move we have made in years. We need to change the entire culture so we can actually become winners again.

I suppose. I don't think the record will be better though. We shall see – crazy things happen in the national football league.

We all agree that the Jets QB situation will get ugly.
I'm tired of hearing about the "development" of Matt Ryan. Falcons will choke as always.
The team with the best record won't win the Superbowl
    Flacco ain't cutting it
Giants are still one of my favs to win it once they get healthy but I got to go with the 49ers
biggest surprise will be the Seahawks late in the season(the QB switch will add spark)

side note: I did say last year that Garrard wont get picked up for the 2012-13 season – Miami just released him… I hope this year will be better for black quarterbacks but I won't hold my breath. on a lighter note white WRs are on the rise word to Ricky Proehl

Sorry Suggs isn't coming back after rupturing his Achilles, trust me on that. The Bears have Cutler who is a jerk so they'll crash and burn with him. Saints will do ok as long as they win their games in the dome which they will do. Giants will do well while injuries are bad they do well with adversity. Peyton will do very well and hit is stride mid season, the Texans will make it to the playoffs because their division is garbage they have it the easiest division wise but all this hype because they made it last year has their fans delusional. Cam will do well somewhat but the o-line and lack of defensive presence may cause him to regress. Luck will beast because he will throw at least 40 times a game. Bills defense will do well but offensively they aren't very good. Pats will do well as expected.
