THANK GOD it's finally February 1st, because ever since I launched my blog on April 1st of 2010, I have been DYING to write about this topic. If you celebrate Black History Month and fully support and believe in it, you are doing more HARM to the cause of Black history being considered a valid part of the World's history, than any perceived good you want to pat yourself on the back for. Like many people who follow politics or even just try to stay current on what's up with Barack Obama, I saw the picture of Arizona's Republican Gov. Jan Brewer sticking her frowsy-finger directly in Barack Obama's face like a pissed-off Principle disciplining one of her troublemaking students in detention. The picture is especially enraging because of the total lack of respect and reverence it shows she has not just for a man [a Black one at that], but for the President of ... Read More

When Barack Obama won the 2008 election to become the First African-American president in the history of the United States, it was a huge symbolic victory for Black people nationwide - but not an actual victory in terms of gaining someone in the highest office in the free world to take a specialized look on the issues affecting his (and our) community everyday. So on one hand we had all the reason in the world to rejoice because we got to see ... Read More

A few weeks ago in New York at the "Monday Meeting" of Republican politicians and donors, Herman Cain fired major shots at President Obama by stating a "community organizer" could not get a job as a manager of a Godfather's Pizza franchise [Herman was the CEO of the pizza chain until 1996]. This quote wasn't just typical douchebag rhetoric from the right, but it struck me a LOT deeper than that: It just reminded me even MORE why the WORST candidate for ... Read More

Yesterday, after enjoying my Canadian Thanksgiving dinner, I decided to check into Facebook and see what the hell has been going on lately as I have not been in contact with people on Facebook, Twitter, this blog and even socially in real life as I have been with only close friends and family. Well one thing I did notice was that a few of my friends had posted a link to a Worldstar video that shows Kanye West "supporting" the Occupy Wall ... Read More

Last night, Barack Obama delivered a poignant and optimistic speech on the recovery plan that America is going to use to right the economy and create more jobs. What's especially interesting about this particular speech is that he was very PASSIONATE in his stance as well as being downright combative and confrontational. Though I love his hopeful and inspirational speeches, I was excited most of all to see Barack do the one thing I have been waiting for him to do ... Read More

For those of you who don't follow politics, you may never have heard of rep. Anthony Weiner from New York's 9th district, but after recently getting busted for tweeting pics of his richard to some coeds in the last couple weeks, chances are you have heard of him now. But the unfortunate part of this whole sordid ordeal is the allusions that IDIOTS are now going to make about him as a POLITICIAN, because of the BULLSH*T he did in his personal ... Read More

I was reading a blog post on SingleBlackMale.org and I came across the following statement: "If a black woman is republican she’s either an idiot who doesn’t follow politics or she’s Condoleeza Rice … you don’t want to date either." Now I clearly assume that was the writer's attempt at humour, because anyone who would seriously attempt to argue that perspective as a statement of fact or reality is an IDIOT - but ... Read More

I RARELY if EVER find my way on to Fox News website, but I couldn't resist this time as they were writing about one of my favourite rappers of all-time, Common, and decided to write this piece of SH*T "article":
First Lady Michelle Obama has scheduled a poetry evening for Wednesday, and she's invited several poets, including a successful Chicago poet and rapper, Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr., AKA "Common." However, Lynn is quite controversial, in part because his poetry includes threats to shoot ... Read More

As I mulled over the comments left on this blog yesterday, as well as a few other informative news sites, about the killing of Osama and how many people think it's a cover-up [Obama KILLS Osama] I noticed one very interesting thing about many of the conspiracy theories and the conspiracy theorists: They managed to leave Barack completely OUT of the circle of blame. Being the laid back person that I am, I'm very rarely SHOCKED, but I have to admit I ... Read More
