Yes, the billboard above is VERY real. It's not a photoshop job, nor is it a prop for a Saturday Night Live skit or a parody movie from Shawn & Marlon Wayans - it's REAL. Believe it or not, there were MANY high level members of the Republican party who were genuinely SHOCKED that Mitt Romney lost to Barack Obama. Truthfully, the race was a lot closer than most Democrats expected it to be, but many outsiders looking in would have only ... Read More

After many days, months and years of pleading by many members of the Black community, Barack Obama finally went to Chicago to speak to the masses about gun violence and what changes need to occur in order for things to improve. For some people this one address would be much more important than ALL of his campaign, inauguration, and State of the Union speeches combined. He was finally talking solely to the ... Read More

If there's one thing that clearly and visibly different between George Walker Bush and Barack Obama it's how they publicly respond to tragedy. After hearing about 9/11, Dubya sat in front of a class full of second graders and read for SEVEN full minutes knowing the country as under attack. After witnessing the destruction of Hurricane Katrina, Bush refused to end his vacation in Texas and even made a point of flying OVER New Orleans on his way back to D.C. to ... Read More

On Monday, January 21st, 2013, we all witnessed an event we may never see again in our lives: A Black American president was sworn in for his second term in office, exactly on Martin Luther King Jr. day. Regardless of your political leanings and feelings on what type of job Barack has actually done in office, to be a minority and not be, at the very least, proud on SOME level to see a minority up there (regardless of party lines) then ... Sunday night, after watching the Ravens upset the Patriots and sending the DMV into a momentary craze, I was bombarded with tweets and viral videos about another interesting incident in the area that night - Lupe Fiasco getting his punk-ass "Jazzy Jeff'd" off a stage in D.C. for performing anti-Obama lyrics. At first I was initially confused as hell because I follow Lupe, and the idea that anyone would book him to perform at any Obama Inauguration Event makes as much sense ... Read More

Yesterday I watched a recent YouTube clip of Colin Powell on NBC's Meet The Press talking about many different issues, including racism in the Republican party. Although Powell has voted for Obama in the last two elections, he STILL considers himself a Republican - but had NO QUALMS in calling out his own parties intolerance:
Once I finished watching the video, I decided to read many of the comments on different liberal websites who reposted this interview and the comment sections were FULL ... Read More

This may sound insane, but there once was a time I use to pace around and talk to myself. In retrospect, it wasn't that I was crazy as much as I was just a young ideologue with no where to share my opinions, but since I've had this blog, I've been freed of having those moments. The last REALLY troublesome episode I had was on November 4th, 2008 while I was living in my home in Barbados. I was watching the entire ... Read More

Today is the day that America chooses who will be the countries Commander-in-Chief for the next four years, and this race between Obama and Romney has been incredibly tight. When it comes to how we as individuals decide to cast our votes, we each have different methods on determining which candidate is the best for us. Some people vote based on social issues like welfare reform, abortion and equal rights, while other people vote on who they believe is BEST for the ... Read More

So after last night's 3rd and final presidential debate between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, I was essentially FORCED to watch CNN for my recap, seeing as how I DON'T have Fox News (which I would only watch for the jokes or to hear ridiculous spin-arguments) or MSNBC. What puzzled me about the Republican pundits on CNN is that they kept describing Romney's performance as "passing the presidential test" which I guess I CLEARLY don't understand the definition of. While watching this ... Read More

[caption id="attachment_11529" align="aligncenter" width="550"] And on THIS day, not one-single F*^K was given by the Black community..[/caption]
Tonight marks the third and final US presidential debate of the 2012 election and for most people this will serve as a tie-breaker, seeing as most people believe Romney one the first one [mostly because Barack disappeared throughout it], and Obama took the second one by being much more confrontational, direct and spirited. Although I expect this debate to be a great one, there was one ... Read More
